A LOCAL COMMUNITY GEM...
I want to give a big shout out to Piven Theater for being such an amazing place for exploring and expanding within the expressive arts, a truly wholesome and loving community center with such heart and soul. I'm just finishing my first class here, "Games, Scene & Story" and enjoying it so much I'm going on take "Building Ensemble and the Art of Adaptation".
I've had my share of socially awkward situations, shyness or reservedness in life, and this Piven class has helped free up so much energy in me to feel at home in my authentic expression in a wider range of possible dynamics. I recommend their theater improv classes to performers and everyday people alike, anyone interested in being more of themselves.
